JUAN MANUEL MANUEL ALMANSA is an independent clothing retailer based in Fuenlabrada, on the southern edge of Madrid. The catalogue is built around one observation: a top is only as good as the trouser it is worn with, and most wardrobes fail at that join. So we stock five tops and three trousers chosen to sit together rather than separately. The tops run from a cowl-neck mesh tee through cotton tanks to a knitted sweater with bell sleeves. The trousers cover corduroy, velour and a stretch woven flare. Everything is photographed on one rail under one light, so the colours you compare on screen are the colours that arrive in the parcel, and the fit notes come from the samples we actually photographed.
Tops, cut to layer
Four of the five tops are sleeveless or short-sleeved, which is deliberate for a city where summer arrives early and stays. The mesh tee uses side ruching and a cowl neck to keep a slim cut from reading as tight, and it is lined so the mesh does not turn transparent in daylight. The two cotton tanks sit on different necklines, one mandarin collar with front buttons and embroidery, one square neck with a hidden zip and a floral motif across the chest. The red knit tee carries a partial button placket and a textured stitch, and the ruffled sweater uses bell sleeves tied at the wrist. Each is graded separately rather than scaled from a single size.
The trousers
The three trousers are drafted on different waistbands because they answer different needs. The corduroy straight leg is a hundred per cent cotton with no stretch, so it is cut with a little more room through the seat and thigh and finished on a natural waist with button and zip. The velour jogger is low-rise with a drawstring, cut to flare from the knee, which lengthens the leg without a heel. The stretch woven uniform trouser is the tidy one, mid-rise with rounded front pockets and a double-button closure, meant for a working day that starts early. We publish rise, inseam and leg opening on each page and measure them flat on the sample, not from a factory spec sheet.
Ordering from us
Orders leave Fuenlabrada within two business days, packed flat and checked against the order before sealing. Returns are accepted within fourteen days of delivery under European consumer law, unworn and with tags attached, and the refund is issued to the original payment method once the parcel is inspected. Sizing questions are welcome before you buy, and genuinely useful: send your measurements and the item you are considering and we will compare them against the sample on the rail. We answer on weekdays between nine and six. If something arrives damaged or is not what you ordered, write within forty-eight hours with photographs and we will resolve it without argument.
